YesEmbarkation was well organized. Medallion was very useful. We enjoyed a relaxing day on Princess Cays and the stingrays excursion was well worth the money. Rastafarian excursion experience was very interesting and educational. The Cayman Turtle Centre was also very educational. However, the excursion to Hell was over marketed. It was just a small souvenir store that could easily have been omitted. On the same excursion the rum and rum cake tastings were disappointing. Also, not much to see on Grand Turk.

Medallion app needs improvement, itinerary change meant we missed a portRECOMMENDED
YesPrincess is trying very hard to keep COVID infections to a minimum. Vaccines, tests and masks inside were mandatory. We sailed with less than a third total passenger capacity. We were treated like royalty. The medallion app has some bugs to work out. Seeing daily actives and folio charges were sometimes not working. It was a little spooky that staff knew our name when we approached a desk and seeing a message board for us in common areas when we walked by.

Food for low carb/sugar free folksRECOMMENDED
Yes<div>This was our first Princess Cruise. We were very impressed with the beauty of the ship, the wonderful service staff, and quickness of embarkation/disembarkation, tendering and excursions. We were traveling with another couple and they were very impressed with the food. I eat sugar-free and very low carb and was disappointed to find very few options regarding desserts and coffee. Admittedly I am a starbucks snob, and rely upon coffee treats. I paid for The International Cafe coffee card, but was only able to get a sugar free latte {which was inconsistently made each day}. I never was able to find out for certain if the ‘cream’ was actually heavy cream {my choice} or half and half. My meals in the main dining room were just ok {steaks tough}. Again, my friends loved all their meals and desserts. Had I been able to indulge in regular food, I may have enjoyed that part more. We caught only one show in the theater which was excellent. Hard to impossible to find deck chairs at the pools on sea days. Always some activity available to keep busy. Booked a bungalow on Princess Cay... worth it! Sting Ray Adventure was awesome! Excursion on St John to highest point was great, but don’t do it if winding narrow roads that hug the edge of the mountain makes you scared. We had an aft cabin on the 15th deck near elevators right below the buffet... loved this location and will stay aft again. We will definitely cruise with Princess again.</div>

The Regal Princess is a beautiful vessel; the public areas, particularly the Atrium, are exceptional. The Regal has a very eclectic ambience for a ship it's size and the number of passengers it carries.CONS

NoOur dining room waiters were fun, attentive and we looked forward to dinner every evening. However, the food/menus were not particularly appealing - or tasteful. We had two great trips ashore with great guides and nice people. One con was that the Grill is not enclosed like on the older ships, it's very crowded and open to the bar and music right outside. We canceled the reservation and make it at Sabatini's where we have eaten before. The steaks were over cooked and not tender we at a few bites. The bus boy took the plates. When we told the waiter he got the mater die who said "He was sorry and offered to get us another but we had just finished our desert and by that time were there and hour and a half. The casino people were patient & tolerant of my black jack efforts as a novice. Crew were polite and willing to help with any needs. ship was clean & orderlyCONS
The breakfast set up on Lido deck was a little confusing because many of the items were hard to find. For instance fried eggs & omelettes were only in one location while other breakfast items were in numerous locations.RECOMMENDED
YesWe enjoyed our dining experiences and poolside relaxation time. The spa was wonderful. They were quite efficient with the emergency training and disembarkation at our stops. We were able to sit in waiting areas instead of standing in long lines to get off the ship. We would do it again!

The entertainment was fabulous and there were many different opportunities offered. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Childcare was wonderful and provided a structured program of crafts and educational opportunities.CONS
The theater was too small to accommodate a full ship which necessitated waiting at least 45 minutes for a good seat for every show. Some of the menus were less than appetizing and much of the food had a Caribbean theme.RECOMMENDED
YesOur cabin was at the bow of the ship which was a mistake for us as we visited the daycare facility many times each day. It was an extremely long and difficult walk past laundry carts, vacuum cleaners, other passengers, etc. I would recommend selecting a cabin anywhere else on the ship.

Food and entertainment were top notch! The staff on board were friendly, helpful and professional.CONS
Small balcony, Elevators were small for the size of the ship, ports weren't very interesting.RECOMMENDED
NoHalifax, NS and Peggy's Cove were excellent. We spent 12 hours in Saint John, NB and the only thing worth seeing was the tide come in and then go back out three hours later. Bar Harbor was ok, but we were the last tour to go to Acadia NP and Cadillac Mountain and the bus broke down causing a 30 minute delay in our departure. You only get 20 minutes on Cadillac Mountain and no stops for photos along the way, We had 9 hours in Boston. Clearly not enough time to get out and see the city. Newport, RI was a nice harbor city with some great history. The ship is huge and the elevators are small for the size of the ship. Many times elevators passed our floor without stopping. It got to the point where people would get on the elevator no matter which direction it was going just to get to the floor they wanted. This was a huge problem for disembarking the ship. The staff were terrific, entertainment was great and food was delicious!

NoWe found the ship much too big. Some of the areas were hard to access i.e. Allegro dining room. We would find ourselves in a location and say to each other "Oh that's right. You can't get there from here". This cruise, much more than the 10 other Princess cruise's we've taken, seemed very disorganized in getting this many people off the ship for excursions. Maybe we had a "newer" staff but several other cruise passengers noticed the same thing. We will sail with Princess again but will not choose a ship of this size.

Noshortage of elevators and stairs for such a large ship; theater impossibly crowded. Smaller Princess ships are a much better choice. Food and service are top-notch, however. Very little offered in the way of enrichment, though the schedule is crowded with hard-sell activities. Worst background music I've encountered on a cruise, loud and ugly. Elegant-looking ship, however.

YesWe had a very pleasant experience. The ship sailed smoothly. The crew were all very helpful, especially the waiters. Enjoyed the ports visited, Copenhagen, Norway, Scotland, Ireland, St. John's, New Foundland and Halifax. Enjoyed the entertainment and ballroom dancing in the Piazza. The itinerary also suited us. There was Zumba, Line Dancing, Dance lessons, and the gym was spacious. Didn't feel guilty when I visited the Buffet, which was amazing. So many choices. Enjoyed the guacamole and all the trimmings.

No<div>Sometimes there are issues that come up during a cruise that could probably be solved if there was a passenger network source/forum; i.e. my Panasonic camera battery went dead and I failed to pack the Panasonic charger for the trip (Princess only sells Nikon products according to the photo staff), but chances are a fellow passenger among the 3K + had one if there was a passenger bulletin board.</div>

FoodRECOMMENDED
YesThe entertainment was Excellent! Only drawback was that there were so many people on this ship, 3600+ passengers, that we had to go to the theater at least 45 - an hour early to get a seat. The food was average. The buffet is too spread out and did not have every area open at all times. Also, there were no hand sanitizers at all entrance points. No greeters and sanitizers as there are on other Princess ships. The dining room food was OK, not great. Several times we ordered Caesar salad and they did not have it even though it was on the menu. Seems like there were more passengers on this ship who were not as patient. Maybe too many people on the ship? Personnel were nice and helpful as always. Rooms had a few problems such as TV not working, toilet problems, and on the last day, our faucet would not stop running. Maybe problems of a new ship? The room steward was excellent, great service!

Chairs around the pool. Cabin size. Stateroom steward. Shows(except the final show).RECOMMENDED
YesThe waiter & his assistant were superior! The buffet food was very good. The safety drill was held inside, out of the rain, & where we could sit. So many others are standing throughout. That means standing while waiting for the stragglers, of which there are many. The chairs around the pools were not comfortable, with a very few exceptions. The pools were very cold and only one had stairs to enter. The remainder had ladders. The cabin was smaller than other balcony cabins we had on other ships. We had no wash cloths and we had to ask the steward three times before we got them & only because I confronted him in the hall while he was replacing towels. Other ships had a steward & an assistant, this had only one & he seemed unable to keep up. The shows were some of the best we saw, except the last one. It was amateurish.

YesNot my favorite Princess ship, but I would consider sailing again if it was convenient . I was really bummed out by the long flight home and would prefer future cruises on the west coast to anywhere. We had one lecture about the creation of the ship which was fascinating. There are too few of these lectures (on any subject other than jewels and spa offerings), maybe because of too many ports and not enough days at sea. That is what we take a ship for and had been to several of the ports before and did not get off. Also, the port lecturer was difficult to understand and did not seem as available at the port when you disembarked as some other cruises. Please make sure princess gets these comments. Their survey ended before I could get all of them written.

Rushed itineraryRECOMMENDED
YesGood selection of popular ports with interesting sites, but limited time in port made tours very rushed. Set dining times should be 6:30 and 8:30 due to port schedules. The first seating at 5:30 meant we missed every dinner on port days. Or, we had to cut our land tours short just to be on time for dinner. Dining room food was not much better than buffet food. Big improvement on entertainment. A number of great shows, but majority of entertainment options were mediocre.
